Industry Nine Wheelsets w/ Mavic 819 Rims

Mountain Bike Wheelsets

The XM 819 rim is a new rim in Mavic's "cross-mountain" family. Replaces the X3.1 rim in Mavic's lineup. They're designed for heavier duty use than a pure cross-country rim, yet still offer lightweight performance that won't weigh you down. The XM 819 Disc is compatible with UST tubeless tires, so you can enjoy the benefits of UST, including lower tire pressure, better traction, and no pinch flats.

The disc-specific design has several benefits, most noticeably more metal can be used to specifically address the forces exerted by disc brakes (since no braking surface is needed). Only one rim wall is drilled (Mavic's Fore technology) so the finished wheel is far stiffer and stronger.

Please note that this is a disc-specific rim, and rim brakes cannot be used. They come with the Chris King Iso Disc Hubs F&R. The rims include DT Swiss competition double butted spokes. The rims support either tube or tubeless.

Weight: 4.30 lbs approx total wheelset weight.
Material: Maxtal aluminum
Drilling: 32 hole, presta valve

Front hub: Industry Nine Classic Hub. Durability and versatility is the key here. This wheelset comes with Industry Nine Classic Quick Release Hub, but 20mm thru-axle, and 24mm Maverick axle front hub is also available - Prices may vary.

Rear hub: Durability and versatility is the key here. This wheelset comes with Industry Nine Classic 125mm Quick Release, but the 10 x 135, or 12x 135 thru axle rear, is also available - prices may vary.

All custom wheelsets are built using SpokePrep and are trued and tensioned by a professional wheel-builder. SpokeFreeze is then applied to maintain trueness.
