I found this bike by accident.I was originally going for the Raleigh MISCEO 2.0 but stumbled onto this. The sales people are great at Bike World.The bike was together and ready for me.Its comfy.Its really cool looking frame geometry reminds me of older bikes.Light weight.Seems to work smoothly.What sold me was it seems more versatile.I wouldnt expect it to keep up with a road bike.NOR a mountain bike.BUT it does do well enough.Make sure you have the bike shop tighten things up because I had issues with a crank falling off and my back wheel popped off while going backwards and testing my brakes.Dont let this turn you away. Things happen. AND Bike World gave me a completely new bike for my troubles.Good people and I think a good bike.Ive been on 5 rides now totally 50 miles.Might not sound like a lot but the hills of TN are unforgiving and like I said,its a jack of all trades,but not the king of the road..;)
Even though I had more than enough budget, I chose this bike over one that cost more with better components. For me (I'm 6' tall, 210lbs) the bike felt more like a BMX bike in terms of control and tossability. It just felt like an excellent fit for what I like in a dual purpose (mostly street) bike. It's great at dashing in the street and accelerating while standing up. The single gear ring at the front means more aggressive acceleration won't result in skipped gears and potential bails, and the bike is also extremely quiet as a result. At the price, there's plenty of room to purchase upgraded components if you feel the need for hydraulic disks or upgraded derailleur. This is the first budget bike I've ever owned, and I feel that I haven't compromised.
