Developed for short spokes with a large deflection angle.
DT Pro Head nipples are designed for short spokes with a large angle of deflection, such as for e-bike use. Through the spherical contact surface, the nipple aligns automatically with the angle of the spoke, which leads to consistent power transmission. Note: brass nipples are not approved for children's products in the USA. See attached warning! All-brass nipples are recommended for e-bike use.
- Weight: starting at 59g for 64 nipples.

The Boost 6-Bolt front is specifically for "Boost" disc spacing forks with 110x15mm "Boost" axles. Using the larger diameter hubshell bearing the Boost 6-Bolt is designed to tackle rough terrain and aggressive riding such as downhill and enduro. In an evolving landscape of axle specifications, we are confident that the "Boost" disc location is here to stay.
Chris King Boost 6-Bolt front hubs are designed as precision mountain tools. We use one-piece axles to provide a stiff hub with rail accurate steering, transferring every minute adjustment you make to the trail. To thwart mud, water, and contaminants as you power through rough trails, Boost hubs have heavy-duty bearing seals and snaprings, that provide superior protection with ultra low drag.
Our bearings, available in steel and ceramic, have heat-treated, surgical grade steel races that are machined simultaneously, with tools of equal wear to ensure perfectly matched inner and outer races. The quality and speed of our bearings is what sets us apart from the competition and they are what you will feel and notice on every single ride. As Chris King bearing tracks burnish they get faster with age and all our hubs and bearings are fully serviceable for years upon years of demanding use.

WHY WE MAKE THIS
Originally, we made this hub to be the cornerstone of our hub product line. It was one of those product releases where we put all our hub and bearing experience into, and ended up with a hub that struck that perfect balance between weight, performance, durability and looks. Since the advent of disc brakes (and the R45D), we keep making it, because it's still that cornerstone hub, and so many of our riders still love to rock their rim brakes on road and off.
WHY YOU WANT IT
The R45 front hub is lighter and more aerodynamic than most built-to-last hubs on the market. We use a narrow hub body and low flanges to make the R45 a rock solid starting point for any fast wheel build.
Our bearings, both steel and ceramic, have heat-treated, surgical grade steel races that are machined simultaneously to ensure perfect matching. The quality and speed of our bearings is what you will feel (and hear) on every ride. As Chris King bearing tracks burnish they get actually get faster. WHY WE MAKE THIS
It's our job to make the best riding hubs in the industry, and 100mm x 12mm front hubs are THE standard for road disc and gravel bikes, so we poured our hearts and souls, not to mention an awful lot of engineering, into this hub. We're proud of it.
WHY YOU WANT IT
We already said it was the best, but everybody says that. Our R45 Centerlock hubs pair a lightweight hub body with our legendary, made-in-house bearings. The result rolls better, lasts longer, and looks way more handsome than anything else out there.
The stiffness of our one-piece axle translates to laser-precise bike handling. This hub also comes in one million (actually a handful) of cool colors.
